Laundry tips
To keep your Cemavota items in tip-top condition, we have listed a few tips:
Tip 1: Wash with like colours
Use a special detergent for white laundry for the white items. These detergents contain optical brighteners and keep your white clothes white. Do not use chlorine or bleach to wash your Cemavota items. This seriously affects the quality of the fabric.
For black items, use a special detergent for dark or black laundry. The black will retain its intensity for longer.
Wash your coloured items along with the coloured laundry.
Always hand wash items with a red colour before adding them to the wash for the first time.
Tip 2: Lower temperature wash
Our items can be washed at 30°C or 40°C unless otherwise stated. Higher wash temperatures may cause the items to shrink, and we cannot guarantee the durability of your item. With the new generation of detergents, washes above 30°C are often not necessary for proper hygienic cleaning. Moreover, lower temperature washes do not damage the environment as much and help preserve the colours of your items.
